The first upgrade one should consider to their Jeep Wrangler JL is the headlights. Not only are you customizing the styling of your vehicle but, more importantly, you are improving safety. When you convert from the factory halogen to this plug and play 7" High Powered Projector LED Headlight Pair you will see a night and day difference! Using solid-state Premium Performance Philips Luxeon ZES LED chips these headlights throw 3600 Raw Lumens (2200 measured) on low beam and 4800 Raw Lumens (3600 measured) on high beam. Housing is made of die-cast, corrosion-resistant coated aluminum. The lens is a nearly bulletproof hard-coated Polycarbonate. Works with both 12 and 24 volt systems. Vertical and horizontal adjustments to provide the best aim possible while the sharp cutoff helps prevent blinding oncoming traffic. DOT/SAE compliant when used with amber, white, or no Halo. Several Halo Ring options from which to choose as well as how you control the ColorSHIFT Halos: No controller, 2.0 (Includes IR remote and keybox), WiFi (Has it's own WiFi signal and smart phone app), BC1 (Bluetooth Control). RBG controller features include: Strobe, fade, constant. Includes headlights, plug and play wiring harnesses, and bolt-on headlight brackets. Please note: LED"s are coated with a yellow phosphorous coating to produce a white light. This looks yellow when lights are off. Please see additional image for reference.
Please Note: Halo-ring colors other than white and amber are not DOT-compliant. These may only be used off-road or while parked at a Jeeps & Java, car show, or similar. They cannot be illuminated while on the road or highway. The headlights themselves are DOT-compliant when run with white, amber, or no-halo illuminated.
